Why we do it

Relationships
There's a direct relationship between a person's degress of social isolation and their risk for physical and mental health problems.
Bruce D. Perry

Connections
In the same way that people can drive each other mad, the company of people, and the being understood by people, can also heal us.
Bessal A. Van der Kolk

Acceptance
Much of our culture and our economy are based on exploiting people's sense of emptiness and inadequacy, of not being enough as we are.
Gabor Mate

Safe Spaces
With Mason's friends we have set up a face to face social network where diverse young adults can enjoy themselves and experience things whilst feeling accepted and safe. Young people, their peers and members of the community hearing different perspectives, whilst having a laugh.
Youth Led
Decisions made by young people, for young people.
Mason's legacy equips young people with the skills and confidence to find their voice and connect with their communities.
